L. Christopher Benjamin, M.D. is a native of Lafayette, LA. He completed his undergraduate degree at Louisiana Tech University in 1990 and received the MD degree from Medical college of Ohio in 1998. Dr Benjamin's General Surgery training was at Georgetown Univ Medical Center in Washington, D.C., followed by a fellowship in cardiac surgery at the Univ of Pittsburg Medical Center. Dr Benjamin was a research fellow at the Massachusetts General Hospital - Harvard Medical School in transplantation from 2000 to 2002. He joined CVT Surgical Center in 2007.
