Dr. C. Swayze Rigby is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the
American Board of Thoracic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College
of Surgeons.
Dr. Rigby is a native of Vicksburg, Mississippi and attended Mississippi State University graduating with a B.S. in zoology with honors in 1977. He is a 1981 graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson. Dr. Rigby served his residency in general surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and was a fellow in thoracic surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City and at New York University. Dr. Rigby has been a member of CVT Surgical Center since 1989.
