Dr. Berry is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
Dr. Berry is a native of Pascagoula, Mississippi. He graduated from Tulane University, Phi Beta Kappa in 1961. He received the Doctorate of Medicine Degree from Tulane University, Alpha Omega Alpha in 1964. Dr. Berry was a United States Naval Flight Surgeon and is a holder of the Air Medal, Vietnam. He completed a residency in General Surgery at the Ochsner Clinic of New Orleans in 1972. His cardiovascular and thoracic surgery training was at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Berry has been in practice with CVT Surgical Center since 1974.
