CT Angiogram

| CT Angiogram |
A CT angiogram is a computed tomography (or CAT scan) x-ray with the express purpose of viewing the arterial circulation.
During and shortly after dye injection, a rapid sequence CT scan can provide
two dimensional and three dimensional images of the thoracic or abdominal aorta.
The pulmonary arteries may also be seen to rule out pulmonary embolism.
Three
dimensional CT angiography helps to plan the placement of stent grafts now
used to treat aneurysmal disease.
