Deep Abdominal Doppler Exam
CVT Vascular Lab, in addition to vascular exams, also performs abdominal, obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound.
An ultrasound exam of the deep abdominal vessels, with or without color enhancement, may be performed by obtaining Doppler velocity readings and analyzing the direction of flow and the level of resistance to evaluate the clinical conditions below:

- Abdominal artery aneurysm.
- Renal artery stenosis.
- Acute mesenteric ischemia.
- Chronic mesenteric angina.
- Portal hypertension.
- Liver disease
- Pancreatic disease

- Pulsatile abdominal mass.
- Uncontrolled hypertension.
- Acute lower back pain.
- Postprandial pain and weight loss.
- Cirrhosis with ascites.
- Unexplained abdominal pain.
